Born and raised in central Maryland, I have always had an eye for the interesting and the unusual. I also have always been in love with history, nature, and railroad transportation. When I first experienced using an SLR camera in high school I realized it was an art form and a hobby in which I could combine all of this. In 2004 I purchased my first digital camera, and from there have amassed a large collection of photographs. Personal and business trips have also expanded my collection to include some beautiful scenes and settings.

I have been behind the lens since then, primarily working with candid shots and theme walk shoots. From time to time I have served as the 'official photographer by default' for the Brunswick Railroad Museum and Fellowship Baptist Church of Middletown, and I have provided special sessions for Grace Episcopal Church of Brunswick, Rose Hill Manor Children's Museum of Frederick, CPL Youth Center of Brunswick, as well as several local businesses.

However though, photography for me has been as much or more of a hobby and a form of self expression than as a business. While I offer printing and licensing of my images, I more likely than not will simply shoot for the joy of snapping the shutter and creating the works. When people find themselves interested in looking at and commenting, or even wanting to use one of my photographs for some sort of personal, public or commercial use, I an more than happy to oblige!

If you are looking for a portrait, event, or wedding photographer, it is rare for me to take such a contract. However I know many local photographers and am more than willing to provide a few high-quality recommendations upon request.

I am a member of the Brunswick Photography Guild.
